My FanVixens 2010 Calendar!!! the unveiling...EDIT!

So I pretty much finished it. Hours and hours of creating my new baby and she's finally all put together.

13 months, 15 babes, 1 fucking awesome calendar.

Featuring:
Vima, Mika Casimir, Autumn, Jordan, Boogie, Ambrielle, Leanne Bell, Sonia, Laura, Ranila Miyu, Elyssa, Angel, Ave Rose, Brenda, and of course your favorite supervillain. =P

Here's the front and back cover.

There are two hot images for each month. Can't wait to see it printed. =) I still might move some of the titles around and a bit more text. Also there will be a barcode somewhere on the back. So these are updated. I added the barcode and logos to the back and I didn't realize that the original said 16 babes, but there are 15. =P haha. so much work. You go over things so many times, simple mistakes get overlooked...

Woohoo!! K. Time for bed. I feel like a zombie. I very proud zombie.
Sending the ftp files tomorrow.

**Thanks for all the love. I'm so backed up, and I'd love to write back to everyone, but I'm still so busy. I have to get comic con costumes together, for myself and some of my models. Also, I will be planning a calendar release party and lots of other fun stuff. When things get settled, I'll start blogging more and interacting with all of you like I used to. =) xoxo

Back from Europe mini photoshoot from my room in Venezia

So I'm back from my awesome trip to Italy and Amsterdam. The food was absolutely amazing. The sights were beautiful. It was an extremely memorable and wonderful holiday. I gained 9 lbs in 2 weeks. haha. So you know I was happy. =) I don't have much time to post. I took thousands of photos of sights and food and such. You need to see some of the amazing views I had in all my rooms, but that will be posted later. I stayed in Roma, Firenze, Venezia, and Amsterdam. I'm so pooped, but sad to be back home and back to work. I have hundreds of interesting stories. I'll have to write about it slowly over time, although I still didn't even finish writing about my trip to Hawaii last August, which actually had some really funny stories. Ahh... well, the calendar is almost finished. I'm going to show images of the cover soon.

For now I'll post some photos of myself in my awesome room at the Westin Europa and Regina in Venezia (Venice). My stay in Venezia was toward the middle of my trip, as you can see, I gained a bit a weight, but I think posed in only flattering positions. =)

I intended on making these black and white, and I will, but later.
Stockings- Emilio Cavallini purchased in Firenze, bra- Victoria Secret. Ciao.

Update

Well, I guess I wasn't able to continue blogging right away. I've been so busy, it's insane. I'm constantly doing a billion (yes, a billion) things at once. My mind is constantly working over time from the moment I wake up till the moment my sleeping pills kick in. I have so much to write about, but I don't have the time so I'll just give a quick update for now and post more about april later.

First, my big project is coming along, but I'm really cutting it close with my deadline. I've been working on a calendar/website for all you Fanboys (and girls) out there called Fanvixens. It's going to feature smoking hot chicks in geek themed scenes. Omg! let me tell you, these girls are top notch beauties, they make me jealous. Oh I'm going to be in it too. I've been having so much fun shooting these lovely ladies, but it's a lot of work to put together. I need the calendar printed before the San Diego comic con and I really want the site to be up and running before then. We'll see. Here's a preview behind the scenes photo of us dorkettes dweebing out after a shoot.^So this isn't the most flattering pic, but we were just having fun after the shoot. I fucking love these girls, and I'm warning you, this shoot was pretty hot and heavy. An often romanticized cat fight...love it.
Oh here's a funny photo from another shoot for the calendar that I did on the rooftop of my home away from home at venice beach. Crowds of people were sort of standing around taking pictures from the hotdog stand. haha. I decided to take a quick snap of some of them.

My parents just moved to the Philippines the other day. Before they left, I did a quick family portrait, which we hadn't done since I was like 8 or something.
^with my parents and 4 sisters- all growed up. Can you imagine the stress of having 5 pretty daughters with attitude problems. haha. I'm the exact middle, two older and two younger. The forgotten child...hence, my out of place pose. haha. =P I really wanted to put together more interesting poses, but this had to be quick. My family waits for no one. Getting everyone to sit in one spot for a few shots was a challenge! This was the only pose where everyone was actually looking at the camera. ^My dad was more into doing some dramatic Greek Hellenistic type poses every other shot. Haha. Now I know where I got that goofy trait.

In June I'm fucking going to ITALY and AMSTERDAM!!! I'm so stoked. This will be my first trip to Europe, so I've been researching like crazy! I'll be hitting up Rome for 4 nights, Florence for 4 nights, Venice for 2 nights then Amsterdam for 3 nights. If anyone's ever been to any of these places hit me up with some ideas for good grubbin' and places that stand out for visiting. I want to do some sort of wine tour in Tuscany and hit up lots of museums and historic sights, but I want to know what's really good. Planning this trip is super overwhelming, even with the help of a great travel agent. There is just so much I want to do! I can't wait! =) My ass is going to be so fat when I get back.
^Ever since I was a kid I wanted to go to Italy because it's shaped like a witch's boot.

I also got some awesome bday gifts. I love the super hot gift I got from Pink ! I also got an awesome gift from Kimberly Tia. I have photos on my pocket cam, but I can't find it at the moment. I am so gonna rock these gifts in some bad ass shoots though...you know how I do. =)
I also was 2nd place in Mimi's drag contest and a runner up for Makeup Mama's drag contest. Tootsie did well with her first contests. =) I have photos of the prizes and such, but those are also on my pocket cam. That thing has to be somewhere in my mess of a room. Eck, I don't even want to think about how messy my place is right now.

Also I got my new place. I'm renting the second unit in my duplex and had them break a whole in the wall, so I have double the space. 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 4 bedrooms, and (yikes) double rent. I fucking love it though. I'm turning the second living room into a sexy space for photoshoots. It took me 2 days straight to paint the bitch because I did some intense stenciling on one wall, but it came out fucking hot! It's black with a white damask sort of pattern. Back breaking work, I tells ya, but so worth it. I have photos of that on my little camera too!

Man...so much more I want to write about, but I've got to get back to work.

*redit another drag contest* The other night I killed two birds Arabic MU and the return of Tootsie

First, I'd like to say thanks to all the lovely people who have been commenting me and what have you. I will try to get around to answering everyone over the weekend if time permits. I've been so damned busy, it's fucking ridiculous. Off the top of my head, I do recall a few people asking where I got Pink's gloves. They were from Frederick's. How do you ladies get reply to comments? Do you answer via your own comment box or go to an individual's blog and comment there? That's one area where xanga was better. The ability to reply to comments easily. Bah...

The other night, my laptop was acting up while I was in the middle of editing. I'm so getting a new macbook pro this weekend, but to keep myself from tossing this one out the window I decided to keep myself busy by doing Spankedelic's Arabic makeup contest. I did the research and realized that a lot of Arabic makeup is quite equivalent to drag makeup! Similar dramatic eyes and contouring... So of course I decided to do a whole new set with Tootsie Electra. =) (click photos to enlarge)
Here's the contest entry...

^Inspiration...If that doesn't look like drag queen makeup, may all your teeth fall out and hair grow in it's place.
I never join these contests to win, I do them for fun. I love having the drive to be creative. I also love seeing other peoples' entries. So if you want to enter Spankedelic's Arabic Makeup Contest , do it soon!

*I just entered this look in Makeup Mama's contest, since I just realized she extended the entry date. =) Not sure if it's allowed, but we'll see. I didn't enter the drag pics in the arabic eyes contest. =P

Tootsie (mutherffin) Electra... my tribute to the awesome performers at Club Illusion and AsiaSF...

^Like the mic? Seasoned b*tches know what's up. haha.
*Forgot to add my signature pose. -slaps wrist-
The outfit is just a bunch of pieces that were from Hollywood Blvd, except for the coach charm bracelet oh and the gloves and hair piece are from Bliss.

Oh yeah, I have a gallery showing tomorrow (I MEANT THE GALLERY IS TODAY, damn odd hours) in Downtown LA at The Hive with inkpenmutations press. It's going to be the first event that I'll attend and not be wasted. Should be interesting.

Well, guess I should hit the sack. xoxo

Tootsie (muthaf+ckin') Elektra

Como estan, Bitches!
I love Drag Queens. I love their style, their character, their attitude. Some of my happiest moments were actually spent partying up with queens in Hollywood. Shiet, if you don't know, you better axe somebody. So you know I had to join the Dragtastic Contest that Lady Bola Rice is throwing.
I had so many looks in my mind from super glam, to super polished, to super trashy. I have so many costumes and crazy outfits. I narrowed it down based on my queen name. The name of my first pet and the street that I grew up on. (changes security questions on all accounts)

So here she is... Ms. Tootsie Electra... (click photos to engorge)

...one for the homies...
I wish I had a male model laying their drinking my spillage... haha or even better Ronald McDonald. Fuck, that be an awesome pic.

The outfit: Dress-LVLX only $40! haha, Gold bikini top-Ultra Vixen, Shoes- From some cheap shop at the Fox Hills Mall only $34, Costume jewelry- bliss, Tiara- real old from ebay, belt- from melrose, gloves- hot topic, wig-hollywood halloween shop, scarf ( to cover my adam's apple =P)- bliss, Gold boots I was gonna wear, but I couldn't stand in them, so they became props-Lady studio, bag- Betsey Johnson.
Cristal and McDizzle's- nutrition for true champions!

Closeup of the Makeup. Lots of contouring...lots of exaggeration...lots of fabulousity. Snaps fingers. I'm raising one brow so one eye looks bigger.
I actually took photos of the process of my transformation. They're pretty neat. I look crazy with no brows. haha. Maybe I'll post them if I have time...

I don't think I've taken this long to do my makeup. haha. It took well over an hour to get the look together, but I was so stoked with how it turned out. It's weird how the makeup transformed not only my outward appearance, but it also compelled me transform my character. I felt a little sassier just by looking in the mirror. I was like "mmm girl, no you d'int!" Yes, I guess I'm a ghetto queen. My inspiration...pretty much just what I've seen at club Illusions, my inner ghetto queen, and the songs "My Hair Looks Fierce" and "Champagne" by the fabulous Amanda Lepore.

I had so much fun, I think I'll feature Tootsie Electra in more photo sets. =)

I can't wait to see the other entries. Come on, people! Let your inner diva out and join Mimi's contest! I had a fun storyline to go with this set, but I have no time to write...I'm backed up. Well, enjoy.

Super Busy

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I haven't been able to respond to any comments because I've been so busy. Every waking hour, I've been working, eating, or researching. Whew. Just thought I'd do a quick post to keep everyone updated.

I have a bunch of restaurants I want to post about, but I don't have time to write much. I still didn't even get to finish writing about what happened at Tengu. Oh well.

For my Valentine's Dinner, I went to Providence for the first time. Well, I didn't go out on Valentine's Day. I worked day and night. I had 4 long photo shoots on during Vday weekend. Man. Well, Providence is a really great fine dining joint. I'm glad I got to try it out. It's definitely up there with Ortolan. I'll write more about it when I have time.

Anyways, here's what I wore...This is pretty much the same Bebe dress that I wore to Pink's Pow wow , but in red.

This weekend I'll be heading to Ojai Valley Resort and Spa. I'll be there from Friday to Sunday. I already have a suite and bunch of treatments booked. I really needed this vacation bad. I can't fucking wait.

Guess this is all I have time to write about. Before I go, here are a few shots that I took of Laura and Marc. Taking pics with her was part of his vday gift. Sweet right? I promised not to make them look all cheesy. =P

^Aren't they a sexy couple? <3

Food, models, thoughts...

Here are a couple of restaurant reviews and some pics I've shot of my girls.
Sushi Zo
I've been wanted to write about this place for a long time. So here goes...To me, most sushi places are either great, bad, or outstanding. There really is no room for just decent sushi in my book. I think just decent sushi=bad sushi in general. Sushi Zo has got to be one of the best traditional sushi joints that I've been to in Los Angeles. I have to say, it's better than Sushi Sushi in Beverly Hills, which is also an outstanding sushi place.
<Before filling my belly at Sushi Zo... Dress-Bebe, Shoes-Aldo (Taken in November)

The ambiance in Sushi Zo isn't so great. It's small, a bit sterile, and a bit bright, with minimal decor. I was actually a bit overdressed when I first went. Actually, it's pretty much a hole in the wall that turns out to be right next to the laundromat I go to. The good part is that there's plenty of parking because it's in a shopping center. You don't go here for the ambiance though. You go for some of the best damned sushi that'll ever touch your wormy little lips.

They ONLY do Omakase (chef's choice) at Sushi Zo. You basically tell them what you DON'T like and the waitress starts bringing out the sushi. 1-2 pieces at a time. You tell the waitress when you are getting full, so she can give you your last piece. Don't forget to tell them when you are ready to call it quits, or the food will keep comming. They have a written set of rules similar to Sushi Sushi's.
When the waitress brings out each piece she will tell you "soy sauce" or "no soy sauce." Follow her lead and you'll be good. Every piece has the right amount of sauce/wasabi so there's no need for extra wasabi. They won't give u any to put in your soy sauce. That would be total blasphemy.
<Pieces in the order that they were served. I had all of this and enjoyed EVERY bite!

The quality of the sushi is just as good, if not better than Sushi Sushi's. Every piece melts in your mouth. The main thing that puts Sushi Zo above Sushi Sushi, is the rice. The rice in the sushi is sooooooo good. Ohmygawd!!! I swear every piece is like biting into little chunks of heaven. I have to warn everyone though, If you haven't had sushi this good, you will definitely be turned off to your regular joints for a while. The spanish mackerel=heaven. Toro=heaven. Eel=heaven. Basically if you tell them what you don't like, you will not be disappointed. Everything about Sushi Zo's food is perfect! You might even discover that you actually like some things that you wouldn't normally like at regular sushi joints. I'm not usually a huge fan of sea urchin unless it's super fresh because it tends to be bitter at times. The sea urchin in squid is sweet, buttery and fucking delicious.

I think the cost was over $100 pp. I also had a $75 bottle of cold sake. (cheaper than buying it by the glass if you drink as much as I do) I've been back plenty of times. It's one of my favorite sushi joints!

James' Beach
<Before heading to James'. Tube Top- LVLX, leggings- Rave, Sleeves- Hot Topic, Shoes-Aldo

Girls, Girls, Girls
My sexy girl, Autumn.
<Legs that don't quit. =)
You'd drool if you were able to see the rest of her sets. Yowzers!

...and my lovely Brendita....
<If she was brunette, wouldn't she make the perfect amazonian Wonder Woman?
I love these girls. <3

NYE
So I bought tickets to Space Island. I plan on losing my mind and sleeping through January 1st.
My resolutions....Finish my big secret project....Continue to be more patient with the mongoloid morons that I deal with daily...to follow my artistic instincts more...to drink less...to be more social...to spend more time with my family....hmmm guess that's all for now. Hope you all have a happy, fun, and safe New Year.

View from my room at Halekulani

I just found some of the pics I took from my room during my last trip to Hawaii. I still want to finish writing about that trip, but for now I'll just post these.
