I had a shoot the other day with my lovely girl, Casimir. She's extremely awesome in front of the camera. We had a lot of really great shots. Here are just a few.









I know she'll do really great with her modeling career. She's smokin'! =)

New self portraits

so I sporadically decided to get some shots of myself in my temporary studio yesterday. the house is basically empty aside from the backgrounds that I set up, so I had a hard time coming up with ideas on the spot. I only had a few outfits, some makeup, and some books that I use to give models ideas for their makeup. here's what was composed...



<i found this old belt buckle. it's pretty old. It was my dad's. I was named after him. Ya dig? Just keep in mind that I aint Mike Jones, so keep my name outcho mouth. haha.




< I waited around for the sunset to get this shot. 8pm-ish. I have to remember that for other models. I think it's a cute setting. Better than full sunlight since the windows are so damned dirty from the outside.




< how could I resist using the pink background in one of my pics. I didn't really have props so I initially posed like I was just reading one of the books, but the books were too huge. They covered half my body and looked too awkward. So I just laid the books down and scattered some of my makeup around. Much better.

<close up of the details. I was just trying to lean my head back as far as I could to get that dramatic light burn on my face. Painful, but worth it.

pretty busy

i've been shooting a bit more, thanks to my sister who is letting me use her 4 bdrm house as a studio till september.=)

I am pretty stoked about being able to use the spot. There is enough room to make my own backgrounds. (so far I have a super girly pink room, a black room, and a red room) There are 2 fireplaces, nice huge windows, and a little deck area. There are so many ideas running through my mind with this place. I'm about to head back right now. =) The place is too cool.

for the messages and comments. I just got home and I'm tired. I took a few pics of myself the other day before heading out to watch Transformers. It had good special effects, but I don't think it's one of those movies that I'll watch more than once.

I usually wake up so late that I am unable to take pics of myself in natural sunlight. I was about to put my camera away and I saw the a bit of light shining through the window.The sun almost got away this time, but not soon enough. I set the camera up and got in a few shots. It was funny trying to catch the light with my face, but I think it gave a pretty neat effect.



<It was kinda hot in the room while snapping these shots. You can actually see the sweat on my forehead. Gross or sexy...how about human? Gimme a break. haha

< I love this dress. I usually go for clothes made with really soft, comfy, and breathable fabrics. I was happy to find this super cozy and cute dress made by American Rag for only $40! If they made this dress in other colors I'd buy all of them. I think I have 3 of every dress and top that I like because it's so hard to find comfortable clothes that actually fit me. Okay I sound repetitious, but hey, whatever. I'm in the middle of playing video games, so that's all.

<I'm actually a really handy lady. I have an ass load of tools and crap. I installed wood floors in my old office on my own. I never smashed a finger once. =P
